We have found the team terrific to work with. Having heard other people’s building horror stories, we were nervous but confident. We felt we listened to every step of the process. Even though we built throughout the covid pandemic, our build came in on budget and only one week past the contracted time frame, which was beyond the builder’s control. We love our new house!

We are so glad we swapped from the original builder we signed with David. Everything from picking which house we wanted to help us do the permits we required to build on our land, nothing was too hard for David and his team. The quality of trades was good, and the price didn’t change from his first quote. besides changes we made along the way, there was no hidden costs. Any issues raised during construction David was straight onto it, and communication was great thanks so much, David and the team.

Fantastic in every facet! Having never built before, the process was very daunting. At the beginning, we worried about everything. These thoughts were quickly pushed aside as David and the team put our fears to rest very quickly and made us feel comfortable. Everything was explained clearly, and the whole process was handled with great professionalism. Price was always given before things continued. Nothing altered along the way from what had been agreed to. The actual building was fantastic. We were always kept informed of what was happening with one of the team either ringing us, giving updates or sending an e-mail with attached photos of the progress. We are so delighted with our new home and cannot thank David enough.

I had the very pleasure of dealing with David and his team in planning the build of my dream home a little while ago. Unfortunately personal circumstances prevented me from building this time… but if I have the opportunity again, David and his team will be my first choice. Our build was managed very well we had a great supervisor that always kept us informed each week of the progress of the house and the office staff and David were always helpful and engaging.
The workmanship and build was very good with very few problems which were address. Our driveway was our biggest issue. The company was always prepared to fix issues we had without. It was the same with what we were quoted from the start.

Excellent experience dealing with David and the team. The design phase and build were near faultless for us. The build itself went up without a hitch. The odd issue with certificates was to be expected that caused a few month delay but the teams followed through to get things moving. Towards the end and post handover there were a few trades the needed to come back to rectify non critical items and whilst taking a little longer to resolve, Dave has been true to his word and pushed things along. I would happily recommend David and certainly build with him again.

Our Dream Home – AMAZING EXPERIENCE
We would like to THANK Owner Builder Specialists for helping us to achieve what we dreamt of. We are so amazed by the customer experience his company provides. We had an irregular shape block to start with and we got the best design utilising every space in the way we wanted, there was no pressure in using their services.
We used them as an independent inspector throughout the build, picking up issues and giving us advice on how to fix them.
We also used our coach as a Liaison officer with our trades, this made everything a breeze. Super Happy with everything and we have already started recommending their services to everyone.

I thought it would be easy! My husband and I are retired, and he is a tradesman. We got ourselves into a mess, it felt like building my granny flat build was out of control, and we were digging a big hole that we couldn’t get out of. I heard of Owner Builder Specialists through some friends who had used their services. Our coach was very patient with my husband and I; he took the lead, and we followed. The granny flat is complete. The advice I can give others, GOOD NEWS! With a coach, you will get through it.
Confused Extension
I own my own company and my husband works at a major hardware store. We have done small renovations in the past, we believed we had all the skills necessary to take on our extension. I found the admin process very confusing. I also found the timing of the build did not come easy. With Owner Builder Specialists guidance they were able to keep us moving letting us know what we needed to do now and in the future. The good thing about this service is I only needed to use them when required. They told me they were designing a software system that guides people through the build process. I wish this was around when I did my renovation. Totally recommend Owner Builder Specialists.
